Have you ever thought about how cool would it be having a perfect lifestyle? Like those girls on Tik Tok and Instagram that keep posting about their morning routines followed by yoga classes or pilates… and don’t forget about the matcha latte pls!!!
Let’s be honest: some of us would love to. We start the week thinking about all the things we need to do in order to have this amazing and idyllic life style, but we end up craving cookies and chips at 3 a.m. after binging an entire tv show.
Reality is that our life sometimes is too frenetic to be always this perfect, and we have to accept that it can’t be flawless all the time, I’m the example! I work out almost 5 times a week and try to balance my diet too, but with university and social life, including visiting new places and trying local food (best of a trip, hands down), being healthy isn’t always easy.
We have to accept that the life we see on social media sometimes isn’t consistent or infallible, it’s just a reel or simple video, and we have to stop belittling ourselves and start looking at the great things we could possibly do to make our days better.
So… if you’re a student like me, an employee, or someone that is trying to stay healthy but struggle to keep it consistent because of the strict schedule, stick with me in this “wellmess diary”, to reach wellness even tho life’s a mess.
